You spoke and the heavens were formed
You spoke and the sun brightly shown,
You spoke, and the dust turned to mountains
You spoke and raging waters flowed.
You touched and the whole earth was filled
with life forms, creatures big and small
You spoke, and all of creation
came into place, You created it all.
You move, and the mountains move with You
You spoke, and You calmed the storm
You laugh, and all the world smiles
You forgave, and man was restored.
You lived, and eternal life is in us
You teach, and wisdom penetrates our minds
You love, all the world, dear Jesus
nobody is ever left behind!
You have compassion, and people come to knowledge
of you, Lord, and thy amazing grace
Your spirit moves, and all of Your people
bow before You and seek Your face.
You reign, and all of the creatures
come before You, and bless Your holy name
You died, cause while we were sinners
you loved us, and Your beloved was claimed.
I pray, You move earth and Heaven
You hear, and work in mighty ways
I see thy mighty hand empower
and I never cease to praise Your name.
