Dedicated to military veterans in 1954
not only did they give their lives
but families left behind
gave even more.

Fathers brothers family and lovers
to never see again
they gave it all up
for our freedom to win.

Why do you want the cross down
are you really that peeved
do you enjoy this Country
or are you truly misconceived
maybe you should move to another place
and we would all be so relieved !!

Why are you wrapped up in this cause
tied up so tight
do you not have better things to think about
when you go to bed at night ?

We are blessed these ones gave their lives
for me and you
if you were in another country
I'll tell you what they'd do
in the middle of the night
there'd be a knock on your door
and then your precious loved ones
would see you never more !!
