....and the miracle of Hanukkah

Why do we celebrate the festival of Lights?
Why do we light candles, adding one each night?
There are many reasons that we celebrate
we have a God who loves us, one who is great!
Delivered us from evil time and time again
promised in His word he'd be with us to the end.
So many people wanted to see the Jewish people fail
But God brought forth His people
and His people would prevail!
Gods Mighty Hand delivers and His people rejoice
One day Jew and gentile will praise Him with one voice!
He puts His mighty hand on those that He loves
He rules with righteousness, In Heaven's courts above.
His love unconditional towards His chosen ones
as long as we are living, His works is never done.
When we light the menorah, lets commemorate
the miracles of our Lord, the acts that make Him great!
