PORTRAIT OF A VIRTUOUS WOMAN
Proverbs 31

A woman of noble character who can find
she is worth more than rubies of any kind.
Her husband esteems her with love and respect
she manages her household without neglect.

She arises early and prepares her meal
and with great wisdom buys her own field.
She works willingly with her hands
her business is profitable and is in demand.

She helps the poor and those in need
and prepares for her family with love indeed.
Covering of tapestry for her home she makes
she sews linen and silk for her own sake.

Her husband is respected in the public place
she merchandises wisely with quiet grace.
She is clothed with honor and dignity,
speaks with wisdom and quite charming is she.

Her children rises up and call her blessed
and her husband praises her nontheless.
Favor is deceitful and beauty is vain
but a virtuous woman wins much fame
