You close your eyes
the day is done
rest in me, little one.
Darkness falls, but do not fear
call on Me, your Abba's here.
Fear can show its ugly face
but I am God with amazing grace.
Trust your father and His son
rest in me, little one.
I see the worry in your heart
I see the fear in your eyes
I see how as each day goes by
you feel alone and try to hide.
When life is righ
and livings tough
call out to Jesus, seek His face
He loves you, dear
He'll meet you here
enveloping you in a warm embrace.
Rest, just rest little one
just wait for the rising sun
gree the day
as it awakens the land
and together we'll walk, hand in hand.
I am gentle, my burdens light
everything will be alright
Your Abbas here and His son
rest in us, dear little one.
