Greetings and Happy Thanksgiving! Welcome to this weeks verse of the week. I pray that as always you will gain wisdom and insight from studying His word. I think we can all be thankful that we not only have a God in Heaven, but one who cares about us, and gives us the grace to handle whatever comes our way.

"Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we are able to recieve mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
Hebrews 4:16

Have any of you all ever felt unworthy to come before God and present a request to Him? I am sure most of you will answer 'yes' to this. But sometimes, when we come to God, we feel shy. Maybe the request is too small, or too big, or maybe you didn't act very good this week, and you wonder if God still cares and will still forgive you.....I think sometimes, the best way to show how very good and faithful God is, is to show by example. I was sick last week, and even a few weeks before that. I am SOOO glad I know what is going on now, that my thyroid was too high, and because of a higher dose of medicine, it has improved. But while I felt bad, I just wanted to feel better, and a lot of times when one feels sick for a long period of time, you begin to loose hope that it will ever get better. I had people pray for me, and I prayed, of course, but at the same time, I was like one of those people during the times Jesus was on earth. Thinking can Jesus, the son of God heal ME? Am I WORTHY of it?
Around wednesday night, after like four of five days of hardly eating, and not being able to swallow, I started to feel hopeless. Then I also realised I was missing a sock. I decided to sort of test God. I said, "alright Lord, if you can helpe me find this sock, I may have more faith about being healed." I really didn't think about that much after I said it, but I was downstairs before going to bed, and though eh, I may as well look for the sock while I am down here. I felt really stupid the whole time I was looking for it, but I DID find it! Then i remembered what i had said. My eyes lit up. "Wow, Lord, you really DO want me to have more faith?!!"
Friday afternoon, I started feeling a little better. I managed to eat some soup for lunch, and decided that after work i would go pick out my Christmas cards. I went to the mall, because they have a really nice store that has beautiful cards, so I got to the mall and every space in the parking lot was taken, except for the ones way in the back. I was like, "ok, I am weak, all I have eaten was soup today do I really want to walk?" So I decided to, and on the way back to the car I realised something-I felt good!! I wasn't tired! I had energy! That and the fact that I was able to work all week, and make it ok. God was healing me! And that night I was able to eat a light dinner, and now here I am, eating too much again, LOL. I am so blessed. God is so good.
Sometimes, trusting God is a long, hard process. It was for me. I don't trust too easily. But then again, if you can't trust the God of the universe, who can you trust? We CAn approach His throne with confidence. He is the Giver of grace and mercy. I wasn't really planning on sharing this with you all this week, I just thought I was going to talk in general, but I hope my story was a blessing to you all, to show that its all about HIM, not out abilities, or good health, or faith. We can approach Him with confidence, knowing that not only is He good and powerful but loving and caring and wants us to put our trust in Him.

DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER-
I GIVE YOU GLORY FOR YOUR HEALING POWER AND YOUR MIRACLES. YOU ARE WORTHY OF OUR TRUST, AND I AM SORRY FOR THE TIMES I HAVE DOUBTED. I PRAY THAT TODAY, YOU WILL MEET EACH PERSON READING THIS WHERE THEY ARE. YOU WILL HELP THEM TO INCREASE THEIR FAITH AND REMIND THEM OF THE TIMES YOU HAVE HELPED THEM IN THE PAST. I PRAISE YOU THAT WE CAN TRUST YOU. I PRAISE YOU THAT WE CAN GO TO YOU IN CONFIDENCE, KNOWING THAT YOU ARE GOOD!
