My Dad, Andy ...
Andy is his name, and I guess,
he's brought me to fame.
My words he has planted in my heart
from Creator God never to part.
These words are now dancing over the world.
The seeds of Love that Dad had
planted have been unfurled.
With a Pop like mine, you can't
help but turn out fine.
In this poem in each and every line,
I hope you can see my love for Pop.
He is certainly the cream of the crop.
Of all the other pops,
mine is right at the top.
When I was kneehigh to a grasshopper,
there was Dad.
Through every newfangled fad ...
the times I was mad or sad or glad ...
there was Dad.
Dad's tough love made me better.
He's the reason I was able to type each letter,
each brief, each report, the Church work,
and much more. Pop I just adore!
He helped me to pray to Lord God
to keep He and His Angels' rod
all around me
through thick and thin
to try to avoid each and every sin.
Through the good days and the bad,
there was and is my Dad.
My Tribute that I wrote a while back
to my special man wasn't needed
because Lord God pulled him
through each and every ill
and each and every pill.
Almighty God granted my every wish.
Dad is with us still.
I can kiss his hand
and preach more to him about
The Promised Land.
Holy God has granted us more time
and made possible this Thanksgiving rhyme.
Happy Thanksgiving, Father God,
for all Your Blessings ...
big and small.
NO! None are small ...
Each and every one is greater than the other
and vice versa.
I kiss Your Holy Hands for all You have
put together in all our lands.
BIG GOD! BEAUTIFUL GOD!
Please don't take away our Gift of Life.
When I think of what could yet happen
upon this earth because of mankind's
inhumanity to mankind ...
... through my heart goes a knife.
Father Creator, help me to save the
works of Your Holy Hands
in all of Your Lands
before it's too late.
Some refer to You as Fate
but I call You The Holy Almighty Creator
of the Heavens and the Earth
and therein all it contains.
I, with all my mind, heart, and soul,
desire to be one of Your Personal Secretaries.
Right now I'm doing it on a voluntary basis,
living on Your Pennies From Heaven.
The Government may stop making the Pennies ...
then what shall I do ???
