I come before my God,
With delight and a heart that rejoices.
I sing a new song
of Joy unto my God

The things of old
become new again.
That first love. has returned
A joy like none other, has filled my heart

The promises of God spread before me,
like an endless treasure
Each promise greater than the other.
Promises so very personal
Each one uniquely Mine.

God has promised that I shall triumph,
For I am his child
No weapon formed
against me shall prosper.

The protection of God
has come to rest about me,
Mine enemy has been cast away
that only his promises remain.

No man stands against me.
Flee from me, you devils
For my God has given me refuge.
I rest in the safety of my Lord.

My God is about to restore unto me
all that has been taken from me.
Nothing shall be withheld from me
For my God has set his sights on me.

A new sound of singing comes forth
Praising My God for his promises.
Tearfully, I fall down before my God
And I begin to worship him.

He lifts my spirit, as he lifts me up.
Together we dance united once again.
This prodigal child has returned
and My God welcomes me with open arms
