My heart is weary and hot within me,
Yet my eyes are e’er on You, my God;
Hold me fast, and keep me near,
For I call upon You, My Lord;

Great is Your love and grace;
It spans farther beyond any known star;
All I desire is to be near You,
And burn for You;

You are the Lord my God;
Be most pleased
With the meditation of my heart;
My breath and life depends on You;
You are the Water of my spirit;
Therefore, it waits upon You;

I thank You, Lord, for the first and second life
You’ve granted me;
I know You;
And I know what You have in store for me;
Your love ne’er fails;
