THERE IS PEACE - HIS NAME IS JESUS

To a dying, hurting world full of discord and unhappiness, there is peace. His name is Jesus, our savior and friend who loves us more than we can ever imagine!

His name is excellent, most holy and worthy of praise! In times of turmoil and sadness, He is our peace. In the scriptures it says in Ephesians 2:14 “For He himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility”. I Peter 5:7 says “Cast all your cares on Him for he cares for you”

When we are hurting, have a bad day, offend someone and then beat ourselves up, He is still our peace to help us overcome those faults. If we trust in Him and pray He will guide us through and those storms will pass.

Stormy waters cause us to rock around a little, bouncing up and down. Jesus calmed the waters on the rough seas and caused peace. When there is a decision to be made and you don’t have the answer, call upon the Lord, He is there to give you peace, joy, and love in your decision.

I remember many times when there was indecision in my own life and after prayer and sometimes fasting, I had to make the decision and then God gave me peace. If my decision was not the right one, I knew it!! God gives us a free will but we have to make good choices and do what we feel is right.

God gives peace in all walks of life. In sickness, health, joy, sorrow, happiness and celebration, unhappiness and sadness and yes—even in death. We know God’s peace because He loves us and He will always be with us. When we die, if we have asked forgiveness for our sins and repent, we will be with God and in death-there is peace.

When the enemy comes in to destroy, kill and disrupt, God is still there and offers His peace to us. Rely on God, pray and know His peace.

Do you know God’s peace? His patience and love endure forever! His peace is always with us in every situation and when we have doubts, we need to pray because He is always there! God bless you
