Teach my heart Your truths
so I may follow you
and know that in my heart
all you say is true.

Let there be a steadfast faith
in Your holy word
So I may believe and recieve
all I have read and heard.

In trial and tribulations
let my faith be the same
as when all is well and bright
and the waters are calm and tame.

Write your word upon my heart
so I can stand strong
and say I trust in Jesus
He will never do me wrong!

May my joy be in You Lord,
may I speak of your grace and love
may I do the work of angels
sent from You, above.

Help me not be ashamed of the gospel
give you glory, honour and praise
and follow Jesus, walk by His side
throughout all of my days.
