Put this to sleep
I can no longer count sheep tonight
It feels to weightless to hold on to

I was on my way to return this arrow
But you've moved on and away
Leaving only a simple note with your complex kisses

Again I realize my arms are empty tonight
Alas, I'm hearing your voice trailing off in the mist
Like two distant star crossed lovers yelling in two different languages

Congrats on your victory
Nice job; here's your pat on the back for destroying the walls around my heart
This is what you wanted? Isn't the tears rushing off my face what you planned?

Put this to song
Understand the notes you've broken in half
Know the melodies that will never come my way again

How I wish you could hear my hear beat
How I long for it to stop
I wish for silence, I strive for fading inhales

I'll stop bleeding on this page now
For it seems time has snuck upon me
And I must gain back the years I spent stuck in your house

Waste away in the nothing you gave me
Hear the silence you taught me
"Here is the knife my dear… that's your cue."
