We Americans spend a whole lot of cash on magazines and newspapers. We want to keep up with things, from news issues that concern us to what all those all important Hollywood celebrities are up to. I do. I like to be informed. I'd love to actually have the chance to meet some of those 'important' people. I'd love to sit down to dinner with the president and have a long talk.

But I've already met the most important Person in the world today, and everyone else just pales in comparison. I didn't have to go anywhere, like Washington or Hollywood, to meet Him either.
I just made a turn in His direction, and He came to where I was.

That makes me an important person, doesn't it? I've met, talked to, and read extensively about Him. I was important enough for Him to talk to me too.

You are an important person. No one may know, or remember, your name. Still, you are important because you are loved by Him. He is the most important One you will ever encounter in your lifetime, and He comes bearing gifts too! Life changing, eternally bestowed gifts.
