When I contemplate the love that God has for each of us, I am in awe. The Creator of heaven, earth and everything in it created you and little ole’ me. He wants to give us the desires of our hearts. He gave up His one and only son for YOU and for me.

Having children of my own, the love I have for them, I can honestly say that I cannot fully comprehend the depth of God’s love. Yet as much as I am capable, I love God with all my heart.

In every relationship though, we each have a part to play, a responsibility. God requires obedience. I could give you my thoughts on this, but God says it best in 1John 5 (1-5) Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves His child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out His commands. This is love for God: to obey His commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

Are you contributing to your relationship with Christ as you ought? You know God is!

Are you in need of some help? We all do from time to time.

Allow God to be the love of your life. Make your decisions by asking God’s guidance first, then wait for His reply. Read His word and build a stronger relationship with Him. Obey God’s commands and reap the blessings from experiencing God’s peace and comfort in ALL situations.
