A large percentage of the population believes that marriage will be this fairytale life that we see in one of Mr. Disney's movies. Most of us didn't grow up in a fairytale home, yet we think that somehow we can create it.

As we remember the movie Snow White and Cinderella, we remember both girls walking off with their Prince Charming. We imagine peace, happy faces, birds singing and a happily ever after. The Carol Burnett show did a skit one time of Snow White after the Seven Dwarfs, that skit was far more realistic as to what life is really like for many. Carol Burnett (Snow White), was sagging in various places, overweight, on her hands and knees washing floors and miserable. The skit was hilarious but unfortunately when we are in the midst of our unhappily ever after, it's not quite so funny.

In any difficult relationship practice Colossians 3(12-14) Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
