Look at you dance about,
What a simple joy you are;
Your breath moves, and thus I shout,
You’re brighter than any star;

I cannot help but gaze at you,
You’re e’er before My eyes;
If I slept, I’d dream of you;
My love’s without disguise;

For this, I wish to come near,
Unite My heart with your own;
That you’d know how, to Me, you’re dear,
I’ve made for you a throne;

All I want’s to be in your life;
To hear your pulsing blood;
I’ve laid down the sacrifice,
For you, My precious bud;

And why not, it’s you I’ve made,
I am why you’re here;
You’re My creation; of highest grade;
Of all flesh, there’s no peer;

I desire to feel you move,
Feel your strong yet supple bones;
And I would like to prove
Just how My heart groans;

Oh, Me, My dear, look at you
Now, I see, you’re crying;
You’re heart has grown, O so blue;
The smile I love is dying;

But I dare not come so near,
My easily frightened dove;
The beauty of Me would make you fear,
With the power of My love;

Yet I’m very near to you,
While you’re far from Me;
The pain of this is all too true,
This fact of eternity;

I want to touch your precious skin,
I’d leap to be in your midst;
But there’s this dam of fear and sin;
Your need to be grace-kissed;

But I’ll wait; I know who I am;
And I know where you’ll go;
I’ll bring down that cursed dam;
It’s Me, I’ll let you know;

And you’ll see My patient heart,
With its vast undying love;
You’ll soon see I’ll never part,
For you’ll be borne above;
