"Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life."--Proverbs 4:23

It is important to realize how much your thoughts do control your life. I think more than any other factor in your life, your thoughts control you; they have a way of fulfilling themselves.

It amazes me that sometimes bad thoughts have a way of multipying, so that soon they run out of control. These thoughts can be about anything.

It has happen to me. Here I am alone on deployment. My thoughts are out of control, I am ranting and raving about who really knows what. In the end, it all seems so silly, but at the time my own thougths made it worse.

I think that it is important to "think like Jesus." If we want to be Christ-like, which should be the goal of every Christian, then we need to think like Jesus. Of course, this is where prayer comes in. Prayers helps us communicate with God and know what Jesus thoughts are like.

Positive thinking has definately helped me. I'm human and I make mistakes, but climbing from the depths is what builds character. The Lord gives me strength to make that climb. All I had to do is ask.
