I do not understand why You chose to die,
all for me, Lord I sometimes wonder why.
You lived on earth, surrounded by sin
not treated like royalty, and born at an inn.
Had a couple of friends, but most did not believe
in Your Heavenly truths, because they were decieved.
You were arrested for crimes you hadn't done
but by Your stripes, victory was won!
You bled ans you suffered, drained of all life
You said "It is finished", but you did not die.
You conquered death, when you paid the price
You took blame for our sins, and now we are made right!
I can do nothing but love you, and fall on my knees
For you gave up your life for a sinner like me!



**If you ever feel that your life is hard and no one is around, remember, the Lord Himself went though the same things we are going through. He was not treated well, He was a common man by the worlds standards, and by some, He was even treated like a criminal. He understands all we go through.***
