The sweet, sweet sound of your voice,

the gentle touch of your hand

your presence like fire

yet cools my weary soul

your love like water,

the infinite flow.

The sweet sweet roses of the garden

the honeysuckle laden with dew

their fragrance so pugnant

yet fails to compare

with the sweet sweet fragrance of You.

Dawn in its newness and glory

dusk at its peaceful goodnight

lives in the shadow of thy glory

Your presence a most awesome sight!

So, dance in my heart today

open my heart, Lord, have your way

touch me deep in my soul

So your fragrance will spread

throughout the night air

the perfume will flow

like a fair maidens hair.

Gently buzz like an ambling bee,

come, overpower, consume all of me.

Come near, like a kiss,

gentle and sweet

a lover, a friend,

may my heart and yours meet.

Come, oh delight me

lover of my soul

inspire and ignite me

come and make me whole.

Your glorious presence

mighty and grand

Your touch so gentle

like a mother's hand.

Float through the air

like a cool evening breeze

spread thy sweet fragrance

as I fall on my knees.

More precious than silver

more priceless than gold

come, Lord, to me

make me new, cover the old.
