Faith
Your voice comes to me in a whisper. Not a shout or a clap of thunder, but like a gentle breeze pouring into my soul. Although I feel You next to me, it's easy to forget Your presence. The screamings of a toddler, the shouts of a bill collector, or the howls of unkind words muffle Your voice. You are with me through my tears. Only You can take away the power of my fear. And only You can help me fly.
I come to You now. I give my life to glorify You and to make all bad things right. I follow Your whisper because I know it's best for everyone. And even if I hear You wrong, You will not be angry with me. You forgive me for my mistakes. You love me in all of them. You give me freedom to be the best that I can be. In You I give all my praise!
I fall to my knees and feel unworthy. You tell me to rise as Your daughter. You say that You are well pleased.

God's still, small voice can be heard only when we slow down and sit still before Him. With so many distractions around us,it's so easy not to hear His whisper. For me, it took a wake up call and a "twist on my knee" (literally) to sit still and listen intently to His whisper. THanks for this beautiful reminder. Keep the faith!
