Part 1- of The Test Drive

Now here is a tale of two cars
one souped up and shining bright
The other model was just plain and simple
and both were waiting, at the light

Then slowly, the light turned green
and each car had shifted their gear
The souped up one took off in a flash
forgetting, the wisdom, of God, begins with fear

Far behind, the plain car paced
knowing that, it had to run with love
And it mattered not how long it took
it relied on strength from above

The souped up car came rushing again
not letting patience have the say
But the slow plain car, kept it's speed
and allowed God's word, to have it's way

Then the souped up car, began to roar
and started spinning wheels of hate
Not realizing it would, damage the engine
for using it, to argue and debate

The plain car just, kept on moving
for it knew that it would get there
If it stayed with the road map, that God gave
and keep in mind, to be just and fair

For on this road of trials and tests
we will, be put, on the line
And if we fail to past, the test run
we have to take it over, time after time

It has nothing to do in how fast you go
but what we put in it
For it takes certain qualities, to stay in the race
that will help keep us fine and fit
