Many if not all of us have heard and believed a lie which hinders us from the real blessing God has for us. It stunts our spiritual growth in fact it can become like a cancer ready to spread through out our other beliefs distorting the truth through a man made demonic influenced, counterfeit truth. That’s why it is so easy to believe it and live it.

Yes my brother’s and sisters we all fall into this trap; the scripture’s state:
Matthew 24:24. “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Today we see so many people flocking to meetings where signs and wonders are being preformed. Now let me state not all signs and wonders are of God, we need to discern with the word of God by his Spirit. What I see happening is there is so many people believers and unbelievers hungry after God yet they are jumping in boots and all.

Many times I have heard this preached: Don’t put God in a box! This is a very catchy saying and unfortunately it’s a lie. How can we put the living God our creator in a box? We are not bigger than God! We are not stronger or more powerful than God!

People it is us that we place in a box to hide from God with our beliefs our wrong notions just like Adam and Eve we try to hide from God. We get a word from God to do something yet it doesn’t conform to our belief structure so we say that’s not God. So pastors tend to call this putting God in a box of conformity we become jack in a boxes out one minute in the next.

We need to start realizing we have boxed up our ways with God believed a lie repent asking God to destroy our boxes and bask in his glory.

Then we have this one: “It’s our relationship with God that matters.”
On the whole this seems right but it isn’t. It’s not about us it’s about Him! We must decrease and He must increase. I don’t know about you but I stink at relationships, they all seem to go sour and some break down for good. You may have had a marriage breakdown, maybe your son or daughter relationship is distant. You may have a bad relationship with your neighbour let’s face it some where along the line we fail in relationships, by either trying to hard or not trying at all.
So if our natural relationships are not good how can our relationship with God be any better?

God the Father is an expert on relationships it’s His relationship with us that counts when we get this understanding and revelation we then can start having a true genuine Godly relationship with Him. But it come from him not us.

Let’s ask ourselves right now, what is God’s relationship with me? Do we really know do we just take things for granted?
