WHEN WE MEET IN PRAYER . . .

Broken down, defeated, weary and hopeless,
I bow my knees, surrendering my every being.
I call upon your Supreme-Glorious Name
Requesting that you come down and MEET ME IN PRAYER . . .


With tears running down my face,
For the world has made me recognise my fears,
Highlighted my weaknesses and flaws,
I mourn in Joy and scream in Silence,
For I have fallen and come short of Your Glory . . .


When we meet in prayer . . .
I request that You dip my sinful body into the boiling blood of the Lamb,
That after the third dip, the burning fires of righteousness would have
Burned all the sin in me into nothing but chaff . . .
I request that You change me and judge the secrets of my heart.
I beg that You do not darken my foolish heart, but rather
Transform my soul into being perfect in loving You and obeying Your ways, and
Let me live up to the privilege of You calling me “Your Child!”


In the midst of all darkness,
You break all evil incarnations of my heart
And by Your Grace a new day is born and by Your Power I know my Saviour Lives . . .
Suddenly every portion of me hails you King,
That even if I were to be a sweeper at the doors of Your kingdom,
My every being will Proclaim and Confess that You are God!
In the midst of all confusion and darkness I walk in contentment

FOR YOU HAVE MET ME IN PRAYER . . .


When we meet in Prayer . . .

Even though I am directionless and lost;
You help me to find my way and You stand by my side . . .
Even though I have a deceitful tongue;
You are my truth and through You I am cleansed . . .
Even though I am dead from my very root;
You give me life and make me believe . . .

When we meet in Prayer . . .
You lay in me a foundation of Pure Love,
Create in me a New Heart,
Deposit in me a Great Treasure,
Build in me Great Faith,
Establish in me Everlasting Peace
And
You nail all my fears to a Cross!

When we meet in prayer . . .
You arrange my Thoughts to suit Your Pleasure,
Plant in me a tree of Life,
Establish me upon the Highest Places,
Decorate my table of Victory,
See my life to Great Completion,
And You make my soul willing to obey You!

All of this happens when

We meet in Prayer . . .
