He will use the Foolish

Jesus was a master yet He was the stone the builders did reject
He exemplified the simple, but Power He did project
Jesus liked to turn things upside down
He made the clever ones draw lines and frown
Jesus most probably smiled, because he knew
All of their cunning was no more than a redundant stew!

Jesus saw the brilliant, astute and composed ones
…and of course he had time…
Indeed, such a man that he was he would encourage more of the same
He knew these ones had potential to do great things in His name
Yet he required of them to turn from this world to His fathers Kingdom
He said - “Put down your own intellect and replace it with my wisdom”
Jesus knew that the real coup was in laying it all down
It would be the ultimate test for Man who always knows best;
To take all that he has and wisely invest
To open his mouth and willingly declare;
“I cannot make neither the moon or the stars or this planet that I live on,
I cannot create the birds and the mammals, neither the seas that I sail,
I have no power to form the sky that we fly in – even if we are able to travel in space!
And I cannot fathom the orbit man has ventured
And of the north and south Pole – there was no labour indentured!
I declare defeat – Truth be told only Almighty God can do all of the above
Therefore I humbly accept the master’s love”

Like inverted Power the Master’s wisdom may appear slight
But those who wear it are more than conquerors…
Having supernatural ability, they have Jesus sight!
Through His vision, situations and circumstances are viewed totally different
From His holy tabernacle in Zion, God’s help is sent!
There is an unbelief and determination that God’s design started in an atom
I refuse this theory in Jesus Name – atom is not where I’m from!
Indeed, there is a remnant, called out, not forsaken, who refuse to believe
That the master’s hand is part of some kind of molecule evolution
They declare: 'Jesus is the son of God and HE is the revolution!'
He died at Calvary’s cross and rose again on day three
To loose and set free, billions of mankind, held in captivity
He ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of his Father’s throne
But never really left us as we have Holy Spirit to call our own
Jesus is saviour and Lord we belong to him
He will use the foolish to confound the wise
The humble and simple He will not despise
As they hunger and thirst after righteousness
He will fill their cup, He will forever bless
He likes those who the world choose to doubt
So he can show up and show off
Can any man reckon Gods clout?

The passionate ones with fervour and zeal
Are many times the ones keeping it real!
You see the gratitude of simplicity will never ever fail
And because of this God will use the foolish of the world
To be the head and not the tail.
God will use the foolish you see to confound the wise
Will you take him at his word or will you believe Satans lies?
Time after time he will confound the worldly sector and sphere
When He shows up through His people
His Kingdom comes and he will dominate this realm and atmosphere
God will use the foolish ones to confound the wise
The ones who stand in church and truly seek peace
Who desire the welfare of others and that they themselves are released,
From a cycle of defeat - this is not religion,
If you want an idyllic story that fiction friendly
I suggest you switch on the box and watch the saturday matinee!
God has taken the foolish ones to confuse the worldy wise
Don’t be surprised – God planned it this way
Now take His knowledge and His wisdom
And live through Him and trust Him
He has promised; read Jeremiah 29,
That there will be a much better day.
