IN THE FIRE

" BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD."
Discipline has a lot to do with sin in our lives but pruning is all about self. The greatest anointing flows out of us when we are pressed from all sides. Though we are crushed but not broken .Yea though he slay me, yet I will still praise him. The strengthening of our Christian faith lies a lot in the trials and tribulations we go through. Experience is the best teacher. Jesus allows many trials in our lives, not because he wants to see us suffer but instead that our spiritual muscles may be exercised.

The fire in every maturing Christian's life is not a pleasant place to be in but yet our blessed assurance is that the Lord will not allow us more than we can handle. In the fire, the only things that will get burnt are the cords that keep us bound. The providence of Jesus promises to build a road through the thicket and a river through the dessert. What is the fire in our lives and Why?

Considering just being a Christian is tough enough. Well agreed to the extent of the fire in every Christian's life is not meant to toughen you but to increase your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.The fire teaches us to pay careful attention to what God's plan for our life is, it helps us distinguish between our human spirit at work and the Holy Spirit at work. The anguish of saying, Not my will but yours Lord, is the choice we make yet the alternate may look rosy. The Lord disciplines those he loves. There is much pain in being disciplined, because the flesh is dying. Yet even in the death of our flesh, spirit is birth. We are called to worship in spirit and in truth .The fire helps bring us to a deeper understanding of God's Glory.

During the fire experience, take refuge in the Lord and his word promises you never to put you to shame
But to deliver you unto righteousness.When we place our times into the hands of God , his face shines upon us and we are saved in his unfailing love..God is merciful always but every child of God that wants to be a servant has to endure the fire. The result of the fire brings us to the point of immeasurably more and enlarged territory.

God has the ability to "fix" every situation, but His plan is so much more. His plan is for us to know Him and His glory; to trust Him and grow while being strengthened and refined through every trial; to
continue to be "conformed to the likeness of His Son". Paul so eloquently teaches us to follow his example as he follows the example of Christ.To walk like Christ did; the path does not change. In this world, we will face many trials but take heart, Christ has overcome the world and so can we.

Unless the master sees his image in us, the season of pruning will continue. Endurance to the potters molding gives rise to a lifetime of sacrifice unto the Great I Am. To live in Christ is always gain. We may never be able to understand all that happens in our lives, but one thing for sure, we can trust God for always having our best at heart. No eye has seen, no hear has heard, no mind can know what God has in store for those who love him but only those who have the mind of Christ. This Christian walk may not be an easy walk but rest assured we walk, not alone, but with Jesus who knows the way.

Jesus will never allow us to be in the fire longer than we need too.His eye is always on us and at the right time, we will acknowledge his wondrous work in our lives and see the harvest of fruits thereof.
Many times, we prolong the fire process by rebelling against the lessons we need to learn.Be still , trust your God and at all times , give thanks . Though the enemy comes like a roaring lion, you serve the lion of the Tribe of Judah. No enemy can touch you; God is faithful to the very end of this world and then for all eternity.

When a flood rises up against you, stand tall for the Father in heaven will raise a standard.Don't let the fire defeat you.That battle has already been fought and won by our Saviour. Rise out of the flames as a mighty warrior in the kingdom of God.When the master has completed his work in you, every principality and every demon will know your name and see in you the glory of the risen King- Jesus Christ.
