MATTHEW 6:33

BUT SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ALL THESE
THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU.

For us the believer this is our ticket to anything we want.Right????
Wrong , much emphasis has always been placed on "all these things shall be added unto you" but
Today ,I tell you that all emphasis must be placed on "BUT SEEK YE FIRST"

Many times, the believer fool themselves in believing that they are seeking the kingdom of God but
Yet their hearts are yearning after "all these things shall be added unto you"
Priority must be given first to God's kingdom and his will for your life and for the earth.
Regular attendance of services and good works does not mean that you have God's kingdom as a
Priority in your life.

Priority means "first things first ".Yes you will receive all these things for sure but when the kingdom of God is sought without alterior motives , the plans and purposes of God for the earth is accomplished.
When we yield to the will of God at all times , his plans , ways and thoughts become one in the same with us and all glory is given to him.

Mechanical worship and self glory means that there is someone else sitting on the throne in your life.
Every person has someone in charge of their lives.
It is either the Holy Spirit, self or the usurper.The Usurper is one who takes the glory for himself.
Self is pride that fills you when you think , you can do it on your own.

The usurper is the devil himself who places himself on the throne in our lives when we give him the
foothold.
There is no such thing as an empty throne in your life.There is always someone occupying it but who reigns in your life lies in your hand.

What does this have to do with seeking the kingdom of God.The only time God's plan for the earth can be fulfilled thru your life is when he is the one who sits on the throne in your life.
There are 3 ways in which we can establish whether we have the kingdom a priority.This is measured by
How one will place oneself in the following catergory:-

A spiritual baby- one who is still following the laws of the flesh

A spiritual youth- one who follows the law of the mind ie they do it because the laws says to do it

A spiritual adult- one who obeys because he Loves God .


The difference between a son and a servant is this -
A servant can obey without loving
A son obeys because he loves.

Which part of the kingdom do you belong to?
Are you a seeker or Are you a "all these things shall be added unto me"

Genuine seekers do not worry about the latter part because their flesh no longer rules so these materialistic wants are not a priority any more as they are always re- assured that God will provide , not before , nor after but on time.What a marvellous God we have?
