This is my tested faith:
My intimate possession by conflict,
For the coming times will contradict
All that I know by belief and truth,
As truth has become conviction’s proof,
All through my tested faith;

I have stood on the water
Of many a storm and trial,
And He’s been there all the while;
I’ve sunk, not keeping my eyes on Him,
And gently shown my lack through sin,
Then brought again to stand on water;

For my good, and for His glory,
When I am brought down to nothing,
I have seen He’s up to something;
The silence after the said “amen,”
Tells me nothing; He’ll come again,
For my good, and for His glory;

I can venture out in gallant aura,
Clutching on to the words of Christ;
In loving trust, I’m not enticed
By the world that says, “It’s all a lie!”
I will remain, while it will die,
With Him, my gallant Aura!
