No one wants to think and/or feel that they are ignorant, dumb, naive or unlearned in any way. Today's society places great emphasis on "worldly" knowledge and anyone not possessing (what the world deems) adequate knowledge is treated and seen as an imbecile or lower-class. But what those of the world are "ignorant" of is that there is a difference between knowledge and wisdom. As well as a great chasm of difference between "worldly" knowledge and wisdom and "godly" knowledge and wisdom. Worldly knowledge and wisdom can fail us during times of deep need or crises; only godly knowledge and wisdom can see us through, the good and the bad times because God is the author of all wisdom and knowledge that is profitable to man. I Cor. 3:19 & 20 confirms how the Lord views worldly knowledge and wisdom. It is futile, of no use or benefit to the user. Godly wisdom is the ability to utilize knowledge to the benefit of self and others. Therefore the "wise" are wise in the word of God and His will for their lives. Let us all be wise in the right way and put away all worldly ways.
