Jeremiah 3:1-25

Focus Jer. 3:6-10

How many times has the Lord called us to repentance for our sins and we refused Him? Too many to count? And do we realize how many other people are affected and influenced by our sin? Many times others see us sin or know about it and mimic and copy us. Especially if they know we claim Jesus as our Savior. They figure if we do it, it must be okay for them too! We have to remember that we are the "only" bible that some may see! Our motto should be "Am I my brother's keeper? Yes, yes, yes!" We are not just responsible for our own sins but also for the sins of others that we influence to sin. In I Cor. 8:9-13 and 10:29-33 we are taught to be considerate in our actions of others who may be weaker in the "faith" or even more importantly those who are unsaved. And back to the first point, when we refuse to be repentant there are two consequence4s to consider: 1) we cause others to sin and are accountable for those sins; 2) we incur God's wrath and thereby His chastisement. Is it really worth it?
