Read I Corinthians 3:1-23

Focus I Cor. 3:21-23

"All things are yours". Isn't that an awesome thought! We have access to everything we need or want through the power of Christ Jesus! But, this comes with a warning, "do not boast in men". This does not only apply to us giving credit to others but also to ourselves. All praise and glory belongs to God! Without His mercy, His grace, His almighty power where would we be? What could we do? It is by HIM and through HIM that we are able. It is because of His loving kindness that we can be confident; that all things are ours.

But, there are two things, well maybe three, that we need to keep on our minds and in ours hearts and spirits that will help us to understand and receive this assurance and be bold in our confidence - that "all things are yours"! And these things are: 1) speaking by faith things that are not as though they were (II Cor. 4:13); 2) giving the Lord thanks and praise before, during and after you receive your blessings (Eph. 5:19-20); and 3) even though sometimes things can get a bit tough and the road a little rough, to stand with confidence and assurance - that "all things are yours" (II Cor. 4:17). Okay, just one more thing; remember the things we speak, we call into existence by the power we have through Jesus Christ - this includes negative things as well (James 3:10-11).

So let us stand in assurance with confidence, by faith with praise and thanksgiving; being careful to speak good things into our lives and the lives of others; and knowing that our tests and trials are for our good. Let's make today the first day for the rest of our lives to promise to commit to this. God bless.
