GRATITUDE


Dear God of Heaven, and God of Earth,
Thankyou for the miracle of my "rebirth"
Thankyou for the life You've given to me.
And for a heart to serve - I'm grateful to Thee
I thank You for Your mercies,
That are new everyday -
And I'm grateful that You never tire of hearing me pray
I thank You for my sight
And I thank You for Your touch
And I love to tell You daily
That I love You very much
I'm grateful for Your Everlasting Arms of Love
And for the Holy Spirit, who descends like a Dove
Thankyou for the talents, You so freely gave to me
And for my friends, who are a great help -
And encouragement to me
Thankyou, because You are my Friend,
On whom I really can depend
I'm grateful now, but I'll be more grateful when,
I'm welcomed Home to praise You
Forevermore in Heaven
