I write, I write, I write
About all kinds of things
Things that make me sad
And those that make me sing

God is first and foremost
Jesus Christ the same
I am so very thankful
He was sent and came

Today I sat and wondered
What else elevates my mood
Is it money, wealth and pleasure
Or flowers birds and food

All at once it hit me
Like lighting and thunder do
What really makes me soar
Can only be just you

It’s you that holds my hand
And is always by my side
It’s you that builds me up
And elevates my pride

You are my help mate
Made by Gods own hand
When my strength is failing
It’s you that helps me stand

When I am weary
It’s you that is strong
When my heart is empty
You fill it with a song

I’m not always pleasant
I know I make you mad
Yet even when I’m lonely
It’s you that makes me glad

Thank You heavenly Father
For sending her to me
And keep our hearts together
And let her walk with me
