There's a constant war, going on in our members
evil up against the good
The flesh fighting with, the spiritual man
so we need to check, under the hood

To see who's in charge of the motor
causing the flesh to get out of control
Bumping and knocking, against every little thing
now what seat, does your soul hold

Now tell me who is running your engine
does it matter to you anymore
What happened to your joy and happiness
who has, the key to your door

Are you blowing out smoke of pride and anger
and picking up, spite and hate
and began to spread faults about one another
to cause a squabble, and debate

Yesterday your motor was running smooth
not a sound was heard from within
Not a hurtful word, came out of the mouth
because, you knew it was sin

You begin to boast and brag with deceit
not sparing anyone at all
Your windows became clouded, from the inside
and you rejoiced, when others did fall

If you don't take time to service your engine
then the motor, you will blow
For it cannot run, on evil works and deeds
and not for long, you will know

There can only be, one driver to a car
so which one, have you given the keys
Have you checked it lately?
by going to God, on bended knees

So to ask of him, for a tune up
becoming humble and really sincere
Not laying on him, all the good you have done
but, with a child like fear

Then he can fix the damaged engine
from top to bottom, he can
If we just give him back, the keys to the car
and let him be, our service station man
