Prophecy
Dear friends,
I was just working around my house, singing the song the Lord gave to me the other day, ‘Wonderful Counselor,’ when every time I got to the last line, I could feel my spirit like it was bubbling up inside of me. I finally just sat down, sang it again, and then let the Lord have His way with me. That's when He gave me this word (following).
The fact that He gave it to me didn’t come as a shock at all, or even as a small surprise. But when I sat down to read my Bible afterward and was led to Ephesians, I must say, I sat there for a while in awe. What a “Wonderful Counselor.”
Also, for those who may not be familiar with that particular scripture from the Old Testament, Isaiah speaks of the Messiah when he says, “And he shall be called ‘Wonderful Counselor.’” That was something else that caught me by surprise. I’m sure I knew it was there, but I didn’t think about it at all when I was writing that song. Rather, I was thinking about Jesus saying that He had to leave so that He could send the Counselor (The Holy Spirit). And I was thinking about how much greater a counselor the Lord really is than the greatest of human counselors. Or, at least, He has been for me personally. So, I just called Him “Wonderful Counselor.” But, as quickly as I could get it written, He led me to Isaiah. Wow! Isn’t it neat how He causes little pieces to fit together that way, like a puzzle, to create the bigger picture? What an awesome God!
And what was my pastor teaching on Wednesday night? But of course it all fit together! “Love one another.” Also, from Genesis chapter 1, the Word says that He created them male and female ... and “he blessed them” BEFORE He spoke to them. In other words, He has called us blessed from the beginning! Try remembering that little bit of information when you get to the last sentence. If you’ll receive it, there is surely a blessing for you in it.

My church, work of My hands, I Am your Counselor indeed. There is none other like Me. I love you with a love that surpasses knowledge. How I would that you love one another as I have loved you, that you would rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep, strengthen the weak, encourage the heartbroken, that you would be exceedingly merciful. Love one another deeply from the heart. Look around you, My church. Do you not see that I have given you opportunities to love one another in both deed and in truth? I have given you ample opportunities and for this, I do not repent. And yet, I say, to love one another as I have loved you is only possible with Me. To those who cry out to Me for hearts to genuinely love as I love, I will give of My Spirit, full measure. I will uphold you by My right hand and you will witness the great extent of My faithfulness. That is who I Am, Faithful and True. Reach out to one another, not only with your hands, but with your hearts. Rend your hearts for one another. There is no greater love than that a man would lay his life down for his friends. This is how I love you. This is the way I would that you love one another. For those who will hear, a little while longer and you will begin to see the first fruits of your new harvest. All creation sings of My glory. Some of you will begin to hear creation sing. Sing with them, My friends, for you also are the work of My hands, lovely in My sight. Blessed is the work of My hands.

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge -- that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
