Chase a bug
Catch a fly
Hide in corner
Wonder why

Jump and bounce
Run and slide
Attack your sock
Quickly hide

Sleep all day
Hunt all night
What is done
Out of sight

On my bed
Feel the heat
Snuggles close
At my feet

Not just a friend
More than that
Forever true
That’s my cat
