Causes of Fear

The root cause of fear is lack of trust.
But God says faith in Him is a must.
Why do you still feel afraid,
Even after you have prayed?

It doesn’t matter how hard you try.
Sometimes you break down and cry.
Maybe you feel no one cares about you
God knows what you are going through.

As a child, perhaps you were abused.
Not knowing why, you are confused.
Because of your experience as a child,
It is hard to trust and your mind runs wild.

Feelings of insecurity tear you up inside.
You just want to run away and hide.
No matter which way your life turns,
Fear has its grip and in you it churns.

What is the answer to your deepest fear?
Just look to Jesus, who is always near.
Trusting in Him is the only way
To conquer all your fears today.

Let go of your fear and give it to Him.
Don’t continue to live your life on a whim.
Take that step of faith and just believe.
He has blessings for you to receive.

Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed,
for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Proverbs 29:25 (NIV)
Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever
trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
