The wrath of God’s revealed from heaven against
All men of sin who suppress His truth without defense,
For what is known of God is clear in them,
As He has shown to them those things of Him;
For since the time when we were made, He’s seen,
Though we can’t see Him, for we are not keen
‘Bout Him; yet His works still show us His pow’r,
Worthy to praise, having gloried that hour;

As a result, we have unthankful lives,
With thoughts futile, where darkness thrives;
We claim wisdom, while we are fools of shame,
We’ve made ourselves to be our god as aim,
Along with birds and beasts and things that creep,
To resist the One who should be our Keep;
So He gave us up to our hearts unclean,
To fall in acts so dark that taint us mean;
Replaced the truth of God for ancient lie,
Laud the things made by the God we deny;

Therefore He gave us to what’s judged as sin,
With misuse of ourselves, dark’ning our din;
Women use what’s not natural; likewise,
Men chase one another to their demise;

As they’ve chosen to not remember Him,
He gives them over to their debase sin;
They fill up their hearts with depravity;
Hating, boastful, lying; all sinful travesty
They know God’s judgment is righteous,
Yet praise such as those who also practice.
