My Shepherd’s Arms
In my Shepherd’s arms
There is no fear or harms
Held safely under His gentle care
Free from all worry and despair
I know His quiet voice
My Shepherd, the safest choice
The One who meets all my needs
The answer to my heart’s pleas
With His rod and staff
Protectively He guides my path
By still waters and green meadows
I know no more pain or sorrows
In my Shepherd’s arms
Saved from the world’s charms
Found when I was completely lost
My Shepherd, My Savior, paid the cost

The Shepherd's arms - oh what sweeter place could there be! Two days before my father died, my family and close friends of my parents surrounded my father and sang praises to God and prayed over him. It was at that moment that the Lord gave me a vision; that of my father curling up into the Hands of God - I knew he was going Home to the safest and best place I know of (and envied him just a tiny bit!). Thank you, Christian, for the memory. Jody
