This poem is an excerpt from my collection of writings, "Living Water." It is based on a true story about a child adopted from the Ukraine.
Crib of Unknown
Lord, bring me out of the crib of unknown
Where I hunger and thirst for You.
Feed me, love me, and hold me tight-
Give me Your security in all that I do.
I’ll not return to the darkened room
Where I feel so lost and alone.
Keep me in Your presence, Lord
And only where the Son is shown.
Teach me, guide me in all my ways
And sustain me O Bread of Life!
Living Water, come and fill me up
Through all adversity and strife.
Take my days, may they be Yours
To do with by Thy great plan.
Thank You for taking me out from there
And giving me Your tender hand.
