It's been a perfect day. Balanced just so between work and rest, joy and challenge. Everyone helping everyone else within the orbit of the family.

Sometimes, you just have to muddle through a lot of bad days before you get to the good one, or few, that make it all worthwhile.

These are the days that give you the courage to keep plugging along. Sometimes, you don't even get the whole day, maybe only a few hours. But what a few hours they can be!

God will never give us more than we can handle.
If we're knee-deep in it, He will be there with us. And we know there is a bigger picture involved in all things.

He gives us courage to face the test, and joy when we have seen it through. Sunshine along with the rain. Happiness to counteract the sorrow.

What do people do if they don't know God? How do they manage their basic, everyday lives? How do you live if you don't know that you and your life are only a small part of a grand plan?

I'm blessed to know these things. I'm blessed to just be alive. My life, my circumstances, are part of His ultimate plan.

I can make a difference. It doesn't matter if anyone else notices.

God notices. That's enough for me.

Thank you, Lord, for the good days!

And even the bad ones.
