There is a way for us to stay connected with God as we go about the busyness of our lives.

There really isn't a specific time you have to do this. There may only be a small pocket of time to be alone with the Father each day, and
that little pocket may come at a different time every day. You don't need to be formal.

I like to read Joyce Meyer. I found a little
tip she shares that I have been doing for years.
She points out that you can talk to God all day long through silent prayer.

Since we know that God is with us always, it makes sense that we would spend a lot of time just talking to Him. He can hear what we are
thinking. We don't have to make a big show out of going to meet God.

He's there. You're there. All day long.

Just talk. Pray. In your thoughts.

Rejoice in the fact that you have a friend who is
closer than a brother. My brothers can't see inside my mind (thank goodness!).

God can. He can hear me without my speaking a single word out loud.

Stay connected. Invite Him to fully participate in your day, in your life.

Keep Him near your heart at all times, in all places.

He's your best friend. You make time to talk to your other friends every day. You either call them, or sit down and write them a letter, or make plans to meet for a meal.

You don't have to do that with Jesus. Just open
the voice in your head, and talk to your Friend.

All the time.
