You just had to say Good Night

Your loved one walks on streets of gold
In a city oh so fair . . .
She's in a land where we've been told
She'll never have a care.

Her life on earth is over
Jesus came to take her home
And she'll be with Him forever.
With a joy she's never known.

She walks along with Abraham . . .
Sees Paul and Timothy.
She greets her friends and loved ones
That she's so longed to see.

Then she's taken to her mansion.
When she enters what a sight
On earth, she followed Jesus . . .
Now she has her heart's delight.

There's no anger there in heaven.
There's no bitterness or hate . . .
Only love that's overflowing
Once she's entered heaven's gate.

So when you think about her,
And you just want to cry,
Remember she's in heaven
And you'll meet her bye and bye.

Then you'll walk the streets of heaven
Hand in hand, you'll see the sights.
For now you haven't lost her . . .
You just had to say "Good Night".
