I cannot speak for the rest of the population but I am up to my eyeballs in finger pointing.

Jesus warned all of us of the danger to be found in our constant review of the ways that other people choose to conduct their lives.

I know that I don't want my own life, my own shortcomings being put under the microscope on a daily basis. I cannot achieve the perfection that we seem to demand of everyone else we en-
counter.

Don't be deceived. I am guilty myself. Sometimes I think about some of the things I have said, and thought,and done, and I cringe.

Jesus said we would be judged based on the way
we judged others.

I don't know about you, but that truly scares me.
I've been so unfair, so unfeeling, so JUDGMENTAL. If Jesus judges me in the way I have judged others, then, oh, boy, I'm going to have a lot of 'splaining' to do!

Thankfully, Jesus looks at our hearts. He doesn't judge in the same manner we do. We cannot know why anyone does anything they do. Only God knows.

This is something we need to be grateful for, need to consider, need to reflect on. Our greatest mission in life is to reflect the love of Jesus. There are no rules, just love one another, regardless. We need to work on this, and leave the sorting out to God. We need to accept that we were not all made to fit the same mold. Even within the Christian churches there are numerous variations. If it is a true Christian church, the basic will be there. The basic is the truth-Jesus was born, died, and rose again to save us all. In Him alone is life.

We need to reach out in love to all people. All of us were created by Him. The most we can hope for, the best we can hope for, is that when we meet our brothers on this road called life, wherever we find that brother, we can point them in the direction they need to go, straight to God.

I am convinced that none of us will ever perfect this while we are here. We are still just human, after all.

But I am also convinced that we need to try, strive, and pray our way towards this goal. There's enough darkness, enough evil, enough hatred in this world already.

I want to see more light.
