The sin in our lives separates us from Almighty God
Without the blood we are cast into a Godless hell
We can call upon His name at any time of our lives
But we must be willing to confess all our sin

The awesomeness of His glory and strength of His power
Makes our bodies to tremble and our hearts to melt
Until one final day we seek out Jesus’ face
And bow before Him to confess, believe, and be saved

We become His child and God becomes our Heavenly Father
To work, to will what He desires for our lives
All we must do is follow and submit to His will
And allow Him to work in our lives for we belong to Him

But every now and again as a child we stumble and fall
We forget Gods blessings, power to forgive, and ability to restore
Our shame and despair causes us to shy away from our God
We believe the lies of satan, that God won’t use us anymore

We must remember our First Love, the Lord Jesus Christ
As He sits up in heaven, gently calling us back
Like the prodigal son, He desires for us to come home
Back into His loving arms, where He is in total control

And because of our sin we hinder ourselves
Believing we must fix it before we stand before His throne
But truly God is continually calling allow Me to fix it
I will carry you and help you through it all

You are My son; I love you and will always help
Just come unto Me and I will give you rest
Fear not for I AM, with my loving arms open wide
As you falter and fall, never be afraid to seek my face
