If you will come to the mountain and endure,
You must go through the valley with grandeur.
For along the valley you’ll find rich forages,
To feed, strengthened and encouraged.

If the Good Shepherd is your Shepherd,
You can be sure you’re well sheltered.
Come, wind, storm, hail or rain,
He will see you through all the pain.

For He knows why He takes you through the valley;
So that your faith would not be shallow.
For He never leaves you in the valley,
But protects you from all life’s deadly arrows.
