CHILDREN’S PRAYER…POEM

Do you believe that God will answer
All your prayers for you?
There must be tons of prayers asked
So what is God to do?

Do you suppose God hears each prayer
And knows who it is from;
And then picks out a special few
Because of who they’re from?

Would prayers that come from ministers
Be placed on top the pile;
And maybe those from little folks
Get thrown into a file?

I think the prayers from folks like you
Are of a special kind
Instead of being put aside
They’re first in God’s own mind

I’ll bet he reads and listens first
To everything you pray;
He must love little children best
That’s what the scriptures say

Jesus said to let the children
Come on up to Me;
That’s to understand each word
And answer you and me
