A play of power will take you into areas that you have no business going. It will bring you faced off with Satan himself and after he has used you, you will be sorry for there are consequences. Your main purpose is to deceive, lie, and kill. You have gone in an area that’s off limits to you and you are carrying the Ark of God out of the church.

Watch the play of power in the church. Deception brings a curse to your house if you partake of the supper. A deceiver characteristic is one that confesses that Jesus is not Christ by denying his power and working of the gifts in the body of Christ. God has given Jesus all power. The closer you get to him, the more his power works in you. Seeds of discord are being sown in the hearts of man that cause them to turn away from the power of God. Don’t get caught in the play of power, you can only lose. A deceiver is one who always has to be out front, and always have something to prove.

Let someone else be able to testify of your walk. Somebody else should see God in you and boast on his spirit working in and through you. The play of power will keep leaders bounding the word up, when they keep someone with the word bound up. God boasted on Job, what joy there is when God can boast on you.

III John 3-9 says, because people want power, they love to have the preeminence among themselves and will not receive a true man or woman of God. They are full of pride, dead men walking.

God hates a proud look. That Spirit stinks and everybody can see it except you. You think that you are all right. God will remember your deeds, all of your malicious words. God himself is not receiving you and you cast those in the church out, why should they follow you, when God says follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that does well; is of God; but he that do evil hath not seen God. Have good report of your brothers and sisters and the truth itself.

Games, a form or spell of play, sport, competition one play according to rules. The Devil has no rules in the game he play, lies, deception and death to the believers. There is no match of God’s power. You are no match for God; so do not take him on. Know whom you are playing with.

It seems that the dignified and religious nature of the Hebrews, or some other national trait, kept them from practicing most forms of games or sports. We should cease from practicing games in the pulpit, throwing slang, belittling counterparts in the Gospel, or to boost your own ministry. God hates a proud look and we should never partake of that meal.
A play of power cripples and retards the growth of others, rather than the players themselves. Some players work out their game plan ahead of time. They discuss it with another team player and plan their strategy, their campaign. It is never about another player, but the power that works in them that you are against and God is your opponent.
Can you mess with that? Satan himself does not want to mess with that, that’s why he chooses to use a willing vessel. Do not let him use your vessel; you will only lose in the end.

The team member does not care who they may hurt, because they never consider that innocent people may have their walk hindered. Every team player things he is a winner, but are you a winner in God’s court? In the end he wins because you cannot see him without repenting for what you have done. Some meals we never should partake in. They have seeds of discord rooted in them. We can push people soul to destruct. It’s a play of power, the ability to do or act, particular faculty of body or mind, authority, control, capacity and capability with the potential to lie and deceive.

Provoke godly jealousy, not maliciousness which; cause the soul to be put in jeopardy. This type cause divisions to be among us, because everyone wants to be powerful, have great influence, wanting to rule and be in control. It is a dangerous spirit and it keeps God’s best from you.

Signs of this spirit is, it always has to be out front, the ring master, everybody will see what I have done, potent, strong spirited, righteous, robust, full of the wrong energy, fleshly inclinations, great, high minded, maintain the spotlight to themselves, very influential, compelling, forceful, weighty, important, impressive and effectual in promoting their own agenda. This spirit is a controlling spirit and it roots is mad up of seeds of envy, jealousy, strife, bitterness, and every evil work, causing the word to not develop or take proper origin of development in you. Thereby you are a plant rooted in retardation of the Spirit of God and you cannot grow spiritually.

How can a decomposed root produce any thing that will live? The dead does not produce life, except it is from some other source of power. In the flesh it produces nothing, but spiritually you become dead to the flesh. You gain power over your dead body, dead situations and all that come to take you down. The power is not in you, but God. What kind of seeds are you planting in the hearts of God’s people? Proverbs 6:16 tells us the six things God hates and seven is an abomination to God, a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that devise wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speak lies, and he that sow discord among the brethren. Do not get caught up in the game of power. The battle is not our but it is the Lord and your opponent is not a man but God, and God will not lose.

All power is given unto him. Power is one of his attributes expressed by the voice of God. It is in his hand, his fingers, his body and all things are possible through him. He is the source of all his strength. Christ as the Son of God is the power of God. He has given us the same power, except it is up to us how we use it, as we are accountable as good stewards. He gives us power over the flesh, over all things that pertain to our lives. His teachings give us power to over come, to subdue the enemy, to work miracles and enable others to do likewise, power to forgive sin, give spiritual life to others by raising the dead in them, power to persevere and strengthen our brother.

In Luke 4:32, the people were astonished at his doctrine, for his word was with power. Luke 24:49, be endued with power from on high, Acts 1:8, but you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you. I Thessalonians 1:5, for our gospel came not up to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Ghost and in much assurance.
II Timothy 1:7, for God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. Hebrews 6:5, and have tasted of the good word of God and the powers of the world to come.
