One of the important things I found in life
was to treat everybody right
Do good to those, who do you wrong
and it will bring whatever's dark to light

Give a helping hand whenever you can
don't look from them to get it back
For God is the one who rewards good deeds
and his memory will always retract

Love your foes, with a compassion
hold no hate within your heart
Give them the choice to know who you are
and let God do the other part

If they are hungry, give them bread
if thirsty, let them have a drink
And these things in time will soften the hard
and will leave some room to think

Be cheerful in all your giving
thank God it, you had a mind to do
These little things that will draw attention
and in life it will help you through

The many loads you have to carry
the nights of tears you shed for them
And the days you kept, right on being faithful
to give light when times were dim

Help to cheer one up when their down
ask that their burdens be cast away
And to add to this, ask God to intervene
on behalf of their life each day

Pray for his grace and mercy, to abide on them
in whomever they may be
Then the God above will smile on you
for having a heart that wants to see

Others in life, prosper and gain
hoping that, they make it through
Each day that comes and nights that fall
and this can happen, because of you

These fundamentals of life are a blessing
if you see all in what it can bring
Although hurts and disappointments has it's times
be satisfied knowing, God beholds, everything

For he is the giver of life to all
the one who wakes us up each day
And though some don't realize, it's of his doing
it's ok, long as we walk, the right way

These fundamental things, in life we do
will have it's place in time
Though not always, easy to pursue
but don't give up, keep trying to be kind
