Help me fly when I feel grounded,
as I’m stuck on pavement pounding.
Too heavy to get off my feet,
but light enough to want repeat.

Only you can sustain my heart,
for you’ve guided me from the start.
Emotionally free to fly.
So determined to touch the sky.

Help me see my limitation.
Mental weight meets irritation.
Dreams take flight as the mind grows clear.
Please help me succeed in spite of fear.

Imagination’s free to soar.
It causes the heart to want more.
Thank you for helping me take flight,
for I am happy in your light.
