Lord, I honor you as head of my life.
I lay down concerns and unwanted strife.
Allow me to learn Your ways from others,
for Your wisdom flows from human covers.

Lord, You bring purpose to my crying eyes.
I desire forgiveness from my lies.
Please wrap me in the love You truly give.
Sustain me when life seems hardest to live.

Lord, teach me to love as only You can.
I yearn to be like You in how I stand.
But I stand sinful in my human heart.
Embrace me in spiritual restart.

Oh Lord, You are the God I can not deny.
The One and Only on which my heart relies.

I read your profile about how a publisher wants you to become more emotional in your writings. You must decide for what reason you are writing. If it's to make money, then your publisher might be right. If it's to share your thoughts, then to change your writings would not reflect your true thoughts. Pray, and perhaps God will allow you to both be yourself in your writing and make money. If you never make money, but you share your inner thoughts, the benefit others reap from your writings may be worth more to you in the long run than the money you could possibly have made. The decison is yours, and I will pray for you. Thomas
